At Exploit Labs, we take pride in not only protecting the digital world but also supporting meaningful causes in the real world. That’s why we’re excited to share that we recently participated in SpecterOps’ Black Hat 2024 fundraiser, which raised money for the American Cancer Society (ACS). After a bit of anticipation, we’re happy to announce that our limited-edition BloodHound t-shirts have finally arrived at our offices in Germany (first come first served 😈)!

This special fundraising campaign, run by SpecterOps in collaboration with Custom Ink, allowed the global cybersecurity community to come together for a greater purpose: supporting the fight against cancer. The funds raised will help the American Cancer Society continue its mission to conduct life-saving cancer research, provide support for patients and families, and raise awareness of this critical health issue.

Why We Joined the Fundraiser

At Exploit Labs, we believe that cybersecurity professionals can make a positive impact both within and beyond our industry. When SpecterOps announced this t-shirt fundraiser to support the American Cancer Society, we saw it as the perfect opportunity to contribute to an important cause while celebrating one of the most powerful tools in cybersecurity: BloodHound.

BloodHound, an open-source tool developed by SpecterOps, has become an essential part of the cybersecurity toolkit, especially for penetration testers and red teamers (including our team!). It helps identify attack paths in Active Directory environments, making organizations more secure. By purchasing these shirts, we were not only supporting a cause that matters but also showing our appreciation for a tool that has made a significant impact in the cybersecurity field.

The T-Shirts Have Arrived!

After waiting a little while for the global shipping process to complete, our exclusive BloodHound t-shirts have officially made their way to our offices in Germany. 🎉

Supporting the Fight Against Cancer

Cancer touches the lives of millions of people worldwide, and the American Cancer Society has been a leader in funding research, providing patient support, and advocating for cancer prevention. We’re proud to contribute to this ongoing fight, and wearing these shirts serves as a small symbol of solidarity with those affected by cancer and their families.

Keep an Eye Out for Future Fundraisers

While this specific SpecterOps Black Hat 2024 fundraiser has concluded, we encourage everyone to stay tuned for future initiatives. SpecterOps consistently finds ways to give back, and we’ll definitely be looking out for the next opportunity to participate. Whether it’s another t-shirt campaign or a new charitable effort, we’re eager to contribute again—and you should be, too!

If you missed out on this round, don’t worry! These types of community-driven efforts often pop up around major cybersecurity events, and we’ll be sure to share updates on any new fundraising initiatives.
